| Assaying | | | All RC and DDH samples are assayed by SGS Canada Inc. Minerals Services (SGS) in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The SGS Toronto facility is ISO 9002 registered, and ISO/IEC 17025 accredited for Specific Tests under the Standards Council of Canada (SCC) No. 456. SGS collects DDH and RC samples from the San Anton Property approximately twice weekly and transports them by vehicle directly to their sample preparation facility in Durango (Durango State), Mexico. Drill samples are routinely assayed for gold, silver, copper, lead, zinc, molybdenum and bismuth. Gold, silver and copper are the three dominant, potentially economic elements in the Cerro del Gallo porphyry deposit. Gold values are routinely determined by fire assay using a 30g sample pulp with instrumental Atomic Absorption Spectrometry (AAS) finish. All samples assaying greater than 1,000 ppb gold are routinely re-assayed by fire assay on a 30g sample pulp using a gravimetric finish.Silver and copper values are determined using a three acid (HF-HNO3-HCL), near total digest with AAS finish in accordance with SGS Method AAS21E. Samples containing over range silver values greater than 300 ppm and up to 1,000 ppm are assayed by SGS Method AAA50, which uses an aggressive mixed four acid attack consisting of HF-HNO3-HCL04-HCL. Copper values are also determined on the same solution. Copper values over 10,000 ppm are determined by sodium peroxide fusion/Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectrometry (ICP-OES) finish on the solution (SGS Method ICA50). | | | |
